The purpose of this Angoleiro roda drill hosted by Mestre Themba and his students in Oakland California was to remove your partner from the circle/roda by using minimal striking, primarily posture, movement, and cutting off your opponent's ability to escape/evade/maneuver, then pushing/sweeping/takedowns/throws or striking.
