FIGHTING FLOREIO VS MULTIFIGHT
If you fight with your capoeira, you will discover that there are maaaannny maaany magnificent options available to you that aren't as available or aren't available at all to other stylists. Capoeira is a FIGHTING art, and it's a travesty to not explore the mighty combat options available in its comprehensive arsenal of movement. Even if you don't train capoeira for its combat benefits? Like cardio kickboxing, you should know and practice the applications at least during shadowboxing and vs mitts, airshields, the heavy bag, etc. Your roda game will SKYROCKET as a result. If you don't? Your capoeira will never develope beyond a particular level; imagine a shadowboxer who doesn't know why or how he/she/they use their techniques; they don't know the purpose of each movement. Without context? One's skill is both underdeveloped and directionless; rudderless as a boat on stormy seas.
