Powerful African wrestling and grappling champion
Many people...and almost all Cardio Capoeiristas...have no idea that Mbundu Ngolo Kipura aka Mbundu Montu, aka Kipura miscalled "Capoeira"...not only has powerful and devastating grappling, they are wholly unaware of the mighty tradition of grappling in Africa AND how these African warriors brought that tradition to Brazil...centuries before brazilian jiujitsu existed.

They are unaware that the entire martial arts in the whole archipelago that Europeans would later call The Phillipines owes their existence to Black people...both the original Black people that the Spaniards called "Los Negritos" [ "The Little Black People" ] and the African "Muslims" miscalled the Almoravids and Almohades...known as the Moors in English, Los Moros in Spain.
They are also completely unaware that Africans have been famously disarming pistol and rifle bearing European slavers for centuries before the modern State of Israel existed, and even longer before Krav Maga was ever made.
This sad state of affairs of ignorance regarding Africa and the African martial arts is deliberate, specifically created by those hateful to Africans, the African martial arts, and the truth regarding all humanity. That's why those of us who treasure and value all of humanity must seek find and spread the true history of humanity in order to prevent the horrible mistakes of the past and permanently unite humanity in one unbreakable family.
In Brazil, the greatest modern enemies to this cause is the practice of the policy of "blanqueamiento"--Whitening everything good, and claiming everything Black is inferior to anything White--along with the specific government policies aimed at the destruction of Kipura since the times of slavery in the 1500's.

In fact, Kipura has such a powerful grappling legacy that legends like Mestre Waldemar Santana were able to use their superior grappling skills to battle and defeat Gracie legends like Helio and battle to a much disputed draw on several occassions [ most present thought Mestre Waldemar won that match ] Carlson Gracie
What separates Kipura grappling from other grappling systems? First of all, Kipura grappling INCLUDES STRIKES OF ALL KINDS AND WEAPONS. Grappling from the ground vs weapons IS NOT UNCOMMON IN AFRICAN MARTIAL ARTS.
So if your Cardio Capoeira Mestre isn't teaching you all weapons including guns, punching a lot and regularly, standing finger wrist elbow shoulder arm and leg locks, throws sweeps trips pushes unbalancing techniques of all kinds, ground grappling of all kinds, chokes and strangles of all kinds, gouging, hair pulling, neck chops/punches/kicks, connectintg these practices back to the practices in African warrior history, and doesn't teach you that there isn't a single move in yoga, judo, silat, kali, Russian Sombo, wrestling , Kino Mutai, Muay Boran, taekwondo ,gungfu and more that hasn't already been a part of the African martial arts which are the base for real Kipura literally thousands of years before any of those countries existed? Then your Mestre isn't teaching you real Kipura.
But I will teach you real Kipura, and show you the scholarly works and scientific historical proof that my every word on the subject is true.
If your Cardio Capoeira Mestre doesn't teach you that there is MORE agility and acrobatics displayed in REAL Kipura than in Cardio Capoeira...where people do acrobatics for literally no reason that is connected to any attack or defense from the other person in the roda with them...then you are not learning real Kipura. I will teach you real Kipura acrobatics, and teach you the history behind them.
