White Supremacist Incidents Are Rising: How Njia Uhuru Kipura Counters Hate on All Fronts

White Supremacist Incidents Are Rising: How Njia Uhuru Kipura Counters Hate on All Fronts Recent reports confirm an alarming rise in white supremacist incidents across the United States. From flash demonstrations to targeted hate crimes, these acts are designed to instill fear, suppress resistance, and enforce systems of racial and economic oppression. But how do African Americans counter these threats effectively—physically, socioeconomically, and politically? Mwalimu Mtaalam Ras Fletcher, through THE ATACX GYM and his Njia Uhuru Kipura system, provides a holistic approach to addressing these challenges. His whole human development methodology strengthens Black communities by integrating combat training, economic empowerment, and political awareness. Here’s how his system tackles the three primary ways hate groups target African Americans : 1. Physical Attacks and Intimidation Hate groups have historically relied on physical violence to terrorize African Americans. From l...

Women and Children’s Self-Defense Blog: Wrist or Arm Grab and Follow-Up Attacks/Defenses

Women and Children’s Self-Defense Blog: Wrist or Arm Grab and Follow-Up Attacks/Defenses The staggering prevalence of violence against women and children necessitates practical, effective self-defense strategies grounded in real-world scenarios. According to the National Survey of Health in 2019, over 29.1 million Brazilians were affected by violence, with women, Black, brown (Pardo), and low-income populations bearing the brunt. Physical violence affected 6.6 million people, with women’s households identified as the primary location for such attacks. Among the most common initial assaults were wrist grabs, arm grabs, bear hugs, and chokes. These are not isolated occurrences—they are part of a chilling pattern that highlights the urgent need for effective defense skills. Yet, many so-called “masters” of martial arts in Brazil—particularly those teaching cardio Capoeira—fail to address these attacks adequately. Despite Capoeira’s deep roots in Kipura, a martial art born out of the...

UFC 305 IZZY VS DRISCUS DU PLESSIS

Image
--- UFC 305 IZZY VS DRISCUS DU PLESSIS As most of you know…I did predict this ending and the round. Which is very hard for me to take, because I’m a big Izzy fan. He’s my guy at MW in the UFC. I did see a number of things [ that I’m sure that Izzy and his coach Gene Bareman and other members of CKB saw ] that can be taken from this tough loss that’ll send Izzy back to strapping the belt around his waist in about a year’s time. But first? Congratulations on the win to DDP and all of his fans. DDP is still a colonizer, recipient of enormous benefits resulting from stripping the riches, resources of the land of my people and lavishing them upon his invading, colonizing kinfolk and his win stemmed directly from that horrible legacy. And we will get it back, ejecting him from the strap and eject all colonizers from Alkebulan miscalled Africa. But not now.  Because DDP is the rightful champion.  He won it not only fair and square but in the way that an actual well rounded MMA...

KIPURA/"CAPOEIRA" TAUGHT MOVEMENT TRAINING 2500 YEARS BEFORE UFC

Image
The new, relatively fad oriented, relatively uninformed MMA media sings the praises of movement training due largely to the phenom of Conor Mcgregor. The more informed MMA pundits sing the praises of the movements of T.J. Dillashaw, Cruz, Carlos Condit, and a few others. Due to the great benefits of the art of my family, NJIA UHURU [ "The Way of Freedom" ], I've known and practiced Weaponizing Human Movement for decades. What is Weaponizing Human Movement? Simply, we take every human movement we can, and use it for functional self defense; regardless of where and how I was introduced to it. So what if I see a movement from basketball, track and field, ballet, gymnastics, or some form of exercise. I take that movement and functionalize it for self defense. This is the process I innovated decades ago, and named Weaponizing Human Movement. I had to go and trademark this name and process under the Weaponizing Human Movement name, because too many people were biting  [ cop...
