KIPURA/"CAPOEIRA" TAUGHT MOVEMENT TRAINING 2500 YEARS BEFORE UFC
















The new, relatively fad oriented, relatively uninformed MMA media sings the praises of movement training due largely to the phenom of Conor Mcgregor. The more informed MMA pundits sing the praises of the movements of T.J. Dillashaw, Cruz, Carlos Condit, and a few others.

Due to the great benefits of the art of my family, NJIA UHURU [ "The Way of Freedom" ], I've known and practiced Weaponizing Human Movement for decades. What is Weaponizing Human Movement? Simply, we take every human movement we can, and use it for functional self defense; regardless of where and how I was introduced to it. So what if I see a movement from basketball, track and field, ballet, gymnastics, or some form of exercise. I take that movement and functionalize it for self defense. This is the process I innovated decades ago, and named Weaponizing Human Movement.

I had to go and trademark this name and process under the Weaponizing Human Movement name, because too many people were biting  [ copying me ] and not admitting that I and my family are the source of their inspiration. They claimed that they innovated the process, when my grandfather's father was doing this [ without the fancy Weaponizing Human Movement moniker and extra scientific process I use now that specifically differentiates our process and to yield vastly superior results over those who don't use the specific process I use, which is a combination, expansion and scientific improvement upon the exceptional scientific and anecdotal processes of my forebearers, combined with my own experiences, inclinations, etc. ] before they were ever thought of.

Even more important? NJIA UHURU is part of the Afrikan fighting systems [ called by many names, but we use the terms "Montu" or "Montu Njia/Mbindu" { "Montu Way/Methods}" among others ]. And Montu is at least 7000 years old. So Afrika is again the undisputed source of this Concept and practice.

None of the MMA people have become aware of applying comprehensive, functional, innovative, activity specific and general activity movement practice for self defense. But they are beginning to grasp the most shallow, most abbreviated, most narrow applications of movement training for their sport.
