THE AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS

Oh man, I'm pumped! This is gonna be good! I hope that Burkina Faso...a small but spirited, swift and capable team...defeats Algeria.

When I think of Algeria? Here's a quick primer that goes through my mind regarding Algeria's history, and how we have the set of circumstances leading up to this football game in the first place:

Algeria's history is complex, marked by various invasions and colonial periods. Here's a brief overview:

1. Arab Invasions:

   - Arab invasions of North Africa, including what is now Algeria, began in the 7th century AD. These invasions were led by various Arab groups and followed the spread of Islam.

2. Ottoman Empire:

   - In the 16th century, the Ottoman Empire expanded into North Africa, including Algeria. The Ottomans established a presence and ruled the region for several centuries. During this time, Algeria was part of the broader Ottoman Empire.

3. French Colonization:

   - In the 19th century, France sought to colonize Algeria. The colonization process began in the early 1830s. The French military gradually occupied Algeria, leading to a prolonged conflict with local resistance groups.

4. Name "Algeria":

   - The name "Algeria" is derived from the city of Algiers (Al-Jazāʾir in Arabic), which was a significant coastal city in the region. The name "Algeria" was given by the French during their colonial rule.

5. European Powers in Colonization:

   - While France was the primary European power involved in the colonization of Algeria, other European powers, including Spain, had interests in North Africa. The colonization of Algeria by France was marked by a protracted and often brutal conflict with Algerian resistance forces.

Algeria gained its independence from France after a long and arduous struggle, with the Algerian War of Independence (1954-1962) being a significant chapter in its history. The country officially became the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria upon gaining independence in 1962.

It's important to note that Algeria is a diverse nation with various ethnic groups, including Arab-Berber communities and other indigenous populations. The history of Algeria is complex and shaped by the interactions of these different groups and the colonial powers that influenced the region.

On top of the above, I see very clearly that the Berber collective includes the Lamtuna and Godala ethnic group confederations, and these indigenous Berber people...Alkebulans one and all...are all close to distant cousins of each other. Similar to say...the Spaniards and Portuguese are close cousins but the Portuguese and White Russians are distant cousins.

If you recall me constantly repeating this fact? The Lamtuna and Godala are the ethnic confederate groups and cousins of each other who are collectively miscalled The Moors. They are not only the literal civilizing source and force of modern Europe, they're the saviors of White Asians, The Middle East and Islam as well.

And oh yeah...they brought their unique brand of Kipura to the entire world, sparking the creation of the war and spiritual systems that lead directly to modern Kali and Silat.Among many other contributions that literally spurred and saved White and Asian civilization themselves.

I see clear elements of Kipura in the play of Burkina Faso and the play of what we in the USA call soccer...more properly called football/international football...in general. The revolutions of Kipura have forced the entire game to be based upon its model.
